Glen Gaillard

Mr. Gaillard brings 31 years of telecommunications engineering experience to AveriStar. He began his career at Cable & Wireless with satellite Earth Station Engineering, Voice Engineering and Network Operations. His subsequent twelve years with Cable & Wireless included engineering and management positions in the Caribbean, The United States and the United Kingdom with global field and network operations. Mr. Gaillard concluded his tenure with C&W as Senior Manager Operations Engineering, North America. Following Cable & Wireless, he held Director of Engineering and executive management positions with Network Access Solutions and Covad Communications. Both were publicly traded, nationwide broadband service providers, where he was responsible for network operations and technical assistance centers.
Mr. Gaillard held senior management positions at Aptela and PingTone Communications. Gaillard was responsible for the network design and operations of Aptela which was eventually acquired by Vonage. While with PingTone, Mr. Gaillard. VP of Engineering was responsible for the development of the business VoIP product offering, Software Development, Network engineering, and technical assistance teams.
His engineering education includes three years of advanced study at Cable and Wireless Telecommunications College; Penzance, United Kingdom.
